Do you know what bugs me? People who post something controversial, wait until you've left a comment challenging their position, and then--instead of answering your comment--take the comment feature off!!!

Ahem, PIETER! After we just TALKED about it, you go ahead and take your comments OFF?? Without even finishing answering mine?!! What a rip-off! No real friend would do that!
If *I* can leave comments on, even though everyone who disagrees with me will ALWAYS be wrong, as opposed to those who disagree with you, who will only be wrong SOMETIMES...YOU CAN LEAVE YOURS ON TOO!!
It's an act of condescension to take comments off!!!! Especially when you say you took them off because people like me "pool our ignorance" when we comment...I'm insulted!
Now you see why you have to reinstate comments, right? If you don't, I have plenty of other good reasons :)

Really, though, I'd been thinking about taking comments off for a while now, so don't feel victimized. ;)
